The Gaia handle and sheath are crafted from high-density wood fiber made from a minimum of 76% recycled paper. This wood fiber is environmentally friendly and incredibly durable, as well as having a pleasing, organic aesthetic. It is specially treated to withstand the rigors of daily kitchen use.

Finally, the packaging for this series is a minimalist design made from biodegradable cardboard and foregoing unnecessary plastics or additives.
